Review: The PowerStation

By Heather

Whenever I thought about writing this post, my mind would eventually drift to this:

And then I’d think, well, that’s about all the PowerStation one woman can be expected to handle and I wouldn’t write the post.

But it’s time to write the post, ear worm be damned. You need the PowerStation in your life.

Darren and I love this thing so much, we bought it twice. Not that I was happy about it, because the second time around was just because someone broke into my car and took the first one right out of the trunk. Which really gets me, because now I feel like I can’t leave it in my car to use when I may actually need it. Thank you, neighborhood cat burgler, for upending my sense of security!

Sorry, you’re not here to hear about neighborhood Issues.

Let me tell you what I love about the PowerStation:

  • It has jumper cables.
  • It has a tire inflator.
  • It has an outlet, so you can use your electrical pump to fill your air mattress.
  • It has USB ports so you can keep your phone charged.
  • It has a light thingy.
  • It’s small, portable and rechargeable.

A lot of camping items are probably luxuries, but this is one item I feel is actually pretty indispensable and a completely practical purchase. I also love self-sufficiency. If you do too, this is right up your alley. Gone will be the days of having to find someone to come and jump your car or looking for a gas station and some change to inflate a low tire. Boom. With this thing, you don’t need anyone for anything.

You can get by without one, but do you want to? Camping can take you to some pretty remote places where help is few and far between.

F-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-l the h-e-e-e-e-a-t, pushing you to decide!

Get it. You won’t regret it!
